KSAT12 Safe Halloween Spooktakular

The KSAT Safe Halloween event will feature food trucks, live music, horse and carriage rides, tons of sweet eats, fire engines, and lots of fun activities for children of all ages like coloring and winning prizes. Attendees will also get a chance to ride in the Human Claw machine, flying high above the ground, grabbing prizes as they are lowered down into a prize pit - it's like the arcade game, only BETTER because YOU are the CLAW.

And what kind of a party would it be without Costume Contests?  Start planning now for individual, family and best hand made costumes – the competition is sure to be tough.  Also plan to march in the percussionist led costume parade; a video of the march will be a great keepsake, so make sure your phone is charged.

We wouldn't be hosting a SAFE event without our community partners in the San Antonio Police Department and San Antonio Fire Department.  Both organizations will be joining in the festivities, and you might even get to see an antique fire truck and Sparky…

KSAT12 is scaring up good family fun at their first ever "KSAT12 Safe Halloween Spooktakular"," said VP/GM of KSAT12 Phil Lane. KSAT12 held its first big public event during Fiesta and treated several hundred local guests to a fantastic experience with loads of fun. "The goal is to continue that tradition of bringing people together to celebrate in a fun, family-friendly environment," said Lane.

 While many of the activities are free, there will be some that will have a cost.  Food trucks, carriage rides are some that have a small fee.
